Toni Jones was a reliable player for the women’s basketball team and could do it all whether with her scoring, ability to control the paint or defense.  She was named first team All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference in 2008 after being tabbed second team in 2006 and 2007 as well as third team in 2005.  She scored 1,993 points and recorded 830 field goals during her career that both remain school records by decisive margins.  Upon her graduation, she was tied for first in school history with 65 blocks, second overall with 929 rebounds, second with a .470 field goal percentage, second with a .784 free throw percentage, second with 297 free throws and second with 204 steals.  Jones twice played in the CACC Tournament and her teams helped lay the foundation for the program that in 2011 won the conference title and played in the NCAA Tournament.
