When it came to a dominating player on the soccer pitch who was counted on to lead the way, Jason McCloskey was just that.  His scoring touch, passing skills and ability to come through when it was needed most helped him to be named NAIA Honorable Mention All-America, Region X Player of the Year and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Year in 2002.  McCloskey also was tabbed All-CACC in 2001 and Honorable Mention All-Conference in 2000.  McCloskey helped the 2002 unit win the NAIA Region X crown that earned the squad an appearance in the 16-team NAIA Tournament.  He also was the 2003 CACC Tournament MVP with six goals and an assist over three games, leading Goldey-Beacom to the league title and a berth in the ECAC Tournament.  McCloskey graduated first in school history with 81 goals, 25 assists and 187 points as well as the top three single-season marks for goals and points.
