Goldey-Beacom Athletics Partnered with NovaCare Rehabilitation Sports MedicineÂ
Our Sports Medicine team is committed to providing the highest quality health care to all of the student-athletes. It is our staff's duty and mission to care for the student-athlete's health and well-being. The Goldey-Beacom Athletic Training staff supports the medical needs of all student-athletes. The staff features two full-time National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) certified and Delaware licensed athletic trainers, who are on campus for all in-season practices and events, and in some cases travel with the teams for away contests. We have a NovaCare Physical Therapist that commutes to campus to treat any extensive injuries. The team is partnered with ChristianaCare and Team Physician Dr. Chaney Stewman to provide on-campus weekly injury clinic. We are conveniently located 15 minutes from one of the largest health care providers in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Christiana Hospital. The Sports Medicine Team strives to make sure every student receives quality health care in hopes that they can excel at Goldey-Beacom College.     Â
