News and Notes• Looking to continue its winning ways, the Lightning volleyball team returns to the Joseph West Jones College Center on Saturday afternoon for a tri-match against Saint Anselm College and Cheyney University ... The Lightning will face the Hawks at 11 a.m. and the Wolves at 3 p.m. ... Meanwhile, Saint Anselm and Cheyney will square off in a neutral site match at 1 p.m.
• Now 3-3 overall and 1-0 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, the Lightning enter Saturday's matches with a brief two-match winning streak after opening their CACC schedule with a three-set victory at Georgian Court on Thursday evening ... It was the first win over the Lions since the 2011 season, snapping a five-match losing streak against the CACC South Division rival.
• Senior outside hitter
Kadi McCoy led the Lightning with nine kills in the victory while sophomore outside hitter
Grace McCarthy added five kills.
• After posting a match-high 17 digs against Georgian Court on Thursday evening, senior defensive specialist
Niki Receveur needs just 15 digs to become the sixth player in school history to reach 1,000 career digs ... Receveur, who has tallied 10 or more digs in five of the Lightning's six matches this season, is tied for second in the CACC with 84 digs (through matches of Sept. 11).
• Meanwhile, McCoy leads the CACC with 76 kills in six matches (through matches of Sept. 11) ... She has posted at least nine kills in all six matches this season.
• The Lightning will be trying to win three consecutive matches for the first time since the 2011 season when Goldey-Beacom defeated Lincoln, the University of the Sciences and Cheyney ... If the Lightning win both matches, it would mark the first four-match win streak since the 2005 season when the Lightning put together a six-match win streak from Oct. 31 to Nov. 12.
• Saint Anselm will be playing in a tri-match for the second day in a row after splitting a pair of matches against Nyack and Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia yesterday ... The Hawks posted a three-set win over Nyack before dropping a four-set decision against the host Griffins ... After opening the season with back-to-back wins over Assumption and Post, the Hawks dropped a five-set decision against Southern New Hampshire on Tuesday night.

Natalie Steinwart contributed 54 assists in the two matches while senior libero
Melissa Jewett tallied 36 digs.
• Saturday's match will mark the fifth all-time meeting between the two teams in a series that is tied at 2-2 ... The teams have not met since the 2010 season when Goldey-Beacom earned a four-set victory.
• Off to a 1-2 start on the season, the Wolves will be trying to build some momentum after claiming their first win of the season with a five-set victory over Lincoln on Tuesday evening ... After dropping the first two sets, the Wolves won the final three sets, including a 15-11 triumph in the fifth and deciding set.

Breanna Joseph led the Wolves by recording 20 kills and 30 digs in the victory while junior setter
Kennetha Wallace contributed 25 digs with 14 assists.
• Joseph leads the Wolves with 32 kills in their three matches this season while junior outside hitter
Vishae Campbell has contributed 11 kills.
• Goldey-Beacom leads the all-time series against Cheyney by a 4-0 margin ... The Lightning rallied to earn a five-set victory over the Wolves in last year's meeting as McCoy tallied 19 kills with 12 digs while senior
Roni Peters contributed 10 kills with 15 digs.
• Following today's matches, the Lightning will continue their CACC schedule on Monday night by welcoming Nyack College to the Jones Center for a 6 p.m. match.
