Goldey-Beacom stepped out of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play to record a 9-0 victory at Gwynedd Mercy in Gwynedd Valley, PA.

Lotte Lesscher y Post (Arnhem, Netherlands) notched a 6-2, 6-2 win at first singles over Katie Garthaus, fellow freshman Fredrika Regner (Langaryd, Sweden) posted a 6-1, 6-3 triumph over Natalie Danze at No. 2 singles and sophomore Anna Hortelano Pey (Castelldefels, Spain) got a 6-0, 6-1 win at third singles over Amanda Goff. Sophomore Alma Garcia Valle (Valladolid, Spain) recorded a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at fourth singles over Robyn Belen, junior Manuela Cornejo (Quito, Ecuador) got a 6-0, 6-1 triumph at No. 5 singles with freshman Ksenija Markovic (Belgrade, Serbia) besting Andrea Hernandez, 8-1, at sixth singles.

Lesscher y Post and freshman Catarina Zheng (Oporto, Portugal) notched an 8-5 win at first doubles over Garthaus and Goff, Hortelano Pey and Regner posted an 8-0 triumph at No. 2 doubles over Danze and Belen with senior Raquel Morais (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) and sophomore Silvia Hortelano Pey (Castelldefels, Spain) winning, 8-2, at third doubles.

Goldey-Beacom (2-0, 1-0 CACC) is home Saturday against Caldwell for a noon league match at Delcastle Tennis Center in Wilmington, DE.
