A starter in all seven games for Coach Bethann Burke and the Lightning women's basketball team, Richmond-Peters averaged 13.7 points and 10.3 rebounds per game during the month of February. In addition, she shot an impressive 52.6 per cent from the field and recorded three "double double" games.
In the final home game of her college career, Richmond-Peters exploded for a career-high 23 points while grabbing 10 rebounds as the Lightning defeated CACC South Division champion Philadelphia University. She made 9 of 16 shots from the floor and converted five of six free throw attempts.
Richmond-Peters also tallied 18 points with 15 rebounds in the Lightning's win over Dominican on Feb. 22, which secured the team's fifth straight berth in the CACC Tournament. She also scored 12 points with 15 rebounds in a victory at Wilmington University on Feb. 18.
An honorable mention All-CACC selection, Richmond-Peters started all 27 games as a senior and scored 11.0 points per game. In addition, she ranked fourth in the CACC by grabbing a team-high 9.9 rebounds per outing.
