Named as the GBCAthletics.com Female Athlete of the Month for the second time this year, junior guard Lillian Chukwueze averaged 15.7 points per game in seven contests during the month of January. In addition, she grabbed 8.0 rebounds per game while shooting 41.9 per cent from the field.

The Lightning's leading scorer, Chukwueze tallied 23 points against the University of the Sciences on Jan. 23. She also helped the Lightning earn a win over Wilmington University on Jan. 11 by scoring 17 points.

On Jan. 8 against Holy Family, Chukwueze scored 15 points with a season-high 18 rebounds and four steals.
