A starter in all 20 games during the month of March, Peters led the Lightning softball team to a 9-11 record, including a 5-3 mark in the CACC.
Peters, who has played several positions for the Lightning this season, is the team's second-leading hitter with a .317 average while contributing 20 hits and four runs batted in. She also has tallied three doubles with a triple and six stolen bases.
In addition, Peters posted a 3-1 record as a pitcher while posting a 1.73 earned run average. She tallied back-to-back shutouts against the University of the Sciences and Post while earning the win in relief against Millersville on Mar. 27.
In six appearances, Peters held opponents to a .169 batting average with 15 strikeouts and just four walks.
