The lone true senior on the Lightning men's basketball team, senior forward Lawrence Livingston (Caesar Rodney H.S./Dover, Del.) ended his collegiate career in record-setting fashion during the month of February.
In six games during the month of February, he tallied 12 blocks while setting the Goldey-Beacom College single-season blocked shots record. He also put the finishing touches on setting the Lightning career blocks record, ending his career with 112 rejections.
In the Lightning's home game against Felician on Feb. 2, Livingston tallied three blocked shots, which allowed him to break the single-season record that was set by Derek Savage during the 2007-08 season. He also matched his season high by scoring 13 points at Dominican on Feb. 16.
Livingston, who started 25 of 26 games this season, finished the season with 49 blocked shots along with a 5.4 point per game average.
