Junior Patrick McRae led the Lightning men's golf team to four event titles during the month of October while earning individual honors twice. After posting a fourth place finish at the Griffin Invitational, the Markham, Ontario, Canada native was the top finisher in the Lightning's tri-match against Philadelphia University and Richard Stockton.
Following a second place effort at the Philadelphia University Golf Classic on Oct. 9, McRae had the best round of his college career while leading the Lightning to the team title at the Goldey-Beacom College Fall Classic. After carding a 78 in the opening round, McRae set a school record by firing a 66 to lead Goldey-Beacom to the title. He also matched a school record by finishing the round with a five-under-par score.
Ranked seventh in the East Region by Golfstat, McRae has led the Lightning to a No. 12 ranking in the East Region.
