The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's leader in kills per set with a 3.29 average, McCoy tallied 171 kills in 14 matches, including eight outings with 10 or more kills. A two-time honorable mention selection for the CACC's weekly awards, McCoy tallied a career-high 21 kills in a five-set victory over Virginia State on Sept. 1 and also had 19 kills with 11 digs in a four-set victory over Bowie State on Sept. 8.
McCoy, who tallied three "double double" efforts in September, had a season-high 16 digs against Felician on Sept. 15 along with 17 kills.
A native of Dallastown, Pa., McCoy has moved into eighth place on the Lightning's all-time kills list with 454 career kills. She earned All-CACC honorable mention notice last year after leading the Lightning with 283 kills.
