Sophomore Bryan Neuhaus (Lago Vista H.S./Jonestown, Texas) of the Goldey-Beacom College men's golf team has been named as the GBCAthletics.com Athlete of the Month for June, 2012.

Neuhaus helped the Lightning finish in 12th place at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regionals at Hershey Country Club in May. He finished in a tie for 40th place with a final score of 239, which included a 79 during the second round.

Neuhaus played in 12 tournaments for the Lightning as a sophomore and shot a season-best 74 in the second round of the Charger Challenge in October.
