Davis this season has nine strikeouts over 8 1/3 innings.

Burch continued to amaze, striking out 15 over 15 innings in recording two wins and a save.  She had six strikeouts Friday against Cedarville in getting the win and six Sunday vs. Thomas More in recording the save.

In her first season with the Lightning, Burch recently surpassed 500 career strikeouts that includes her time with Mary Washington.  She has recorded 36 strikeouts this season over 46 2/3 innings, recording seven victories and two saves.

Insinga batted .476 (10-for-21) with a double and two RBI.  She notched four multi-hit games over the Lightning's six contests, including three hits Thursday against Roosevelt and Friday vs. Columbus State.

Off to an incredible start, Insinga is batting a team-best .423 and she paces the conference with 22 hits.  She has a hit in 12 of her 15 contests this season.
