The comeback season for Goldey-Beacom volleyball sophomore Lindsay Przywara (Williamstown, NJ) took another positive turn as she was picked Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District.

Przywara, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference 2016 Rookie of the Year, missed all of last season due to injury but returned in a major way by producing one of the best seasons in program history.  This effort played a big part in her being tabbed third team all-conference.

She is 32nd in the nation with 3.84 kills per set, 40th with 415 kills, 46th with 4.25 points per set, has recorded 13 double-doubles and 20 matches with double figures in kills.

Przywara ends the season sixth in school history with 746 career kills.  Her 415 kills this year are the third best single-season mark in team annals.

Przywara becomes the fifth Goldey-Beacom student-athlete this fall to be tabbed CoSIDA Academic All-District, the most in one season and one academic year in school history.  Cliona Crammond, Rose Benjamin and Line Kristoffersen were honored for women's soccer with Chahin Aghrim from men's soccer becoming the College's first three-time honoree.

The Lightning, who have five CoSIDA Academic All-Americas in their history, last year as a department recorded a 3.33 cumulative grade point average and saw 68 of their student-athletes get at least a 3.5 GPA.
