The latest posting of the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer statistics announced junior Chahin Aghrim (Bonn, Germany) is leading the country in assists and Goldey-Beacom owns the top spot in goals and points.

Aghrim once again has been a key component for the Lightning with nine assists, which already is the fourth-best single-season mark in school history.  An exceptional finisher as well as a great playmaker, Aghrim also has 21 points that have him 18th in the country and six goals that put him 63rd.

Aghrim's totals so far this season in goals, assists and points already match his career totals.  The current Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Week now is fourth in school history with 18 assists and sixth with 42 points.

Success for Aghrim is not limited to this season.  He was picked first team All-CACC last season after closing with four goals, five assists, 13 points and two game-winning goals.  Aghrim and teammate Cameron Wilkinson (Terrigal, Australia) also were picked CoSIDA Academic All-District.

Goldey-Beacom's high-powered offense also has been on display with 39 goals and 106 points.  Six times this season the squad has scored at least four goals, including its season best in a 7-0 triumph September 7 over Pittsburgh-Johnstown.

Goldey-Beacom (9-3-1, 5-2-1 CACC) sits tied for third in the league with Georgian Court (5-2-1), the defending conference champion.  The two will meet Wednesday in Lakewood, NJ for e 3:30 pm match.
