Men’s Soccer Gets Three on the CACC All-Academic Team

1/27/2026 12:00:00 AM

Goldey-Beacom Men's Soccer team saw sophomore Daniel Granado (Seville, Spain) along with seniors Tiwalade Ogunfadebo (New Castle, DE) and Luis Brugal (Puerto Plata, DR) each make the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference All-Academic Team.

Granado was a key player over his 15 matches with 13 starts and was named second team All-CACC.  He helped the Lightning allow no more than one goal five times this season, including a shutout October 11 vs. Bridgeport.  His play provided plenty of optimism for a defense that looks to continue putting together all the right pieces.

Ogunfadebo had yet another solid year as a multi-faceted player, making a career-best 14 starts and matching his personal best with 18 games.  Playing a key role on defense, he stepped up his offensive game with a career-high 15 shots that included two goals.  He ends his time with three goals and four assists over 63 matches.

Brugal competed in 16 games with 15 starts, giving the squad stability at midfield.  He finished with 39 games played and 24 starts.
