Goldey-Beacom men's soccer faced off against Wilmington (DE) at Abessinio Stadium in Wilmington and, after a long and physical game, ended the night with a 3-1 defeat. 

Wilmington got things started quickly with a goal two minutes in when Jacques Mason found Alex Tarway on the cross pass for his second goal of the season. The Wildcats scored again on a penalty kick from Theo Faillon in the 16th minute to take the 2-0 lead.

Goldey-Beacom converted a penalty kick from senior Emanuel Bustos (Miami, FL) in the 47th minute, but Wilmington pulled away for 3-1 victory on a goal from Michiharu Takanashi, assisted by Jhamaleek Porter, in the 72nd minute.

Senior Jamel Yasin (Sewell, N.J.) notched four saves for the Lightning.
