News and Notes• Coming off an exciting 6-2 non-conference victory against East Stroudsburg on Thursday afternoon, the Lightning men's soccer team returns to its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference schedule this afternoon by hosting Felician College ... Opening kick-off between the Lightning and the Golden Falcons is slated for approximately 2 p.m.
• Today's game was originally slated to be played yesterday as part of the Goldey-Beacom College Homecoming festivities, but inclement weather forced the postponement of the match ... It is the third time this season a match has been postponed due to weather.
• Now 6-5-0 overall and 4-2-0 in the CACC, the Lightning have won three of their last four matches following Thursday's victory over the Warriors ... The Lightning scored six or more goals for the first time since a 9-0 victory over Lincoln University in the 2010 regular season finale.

Luiz Ristow led the Lightning to the victory on Thursday by scoring a goal with two assists ... Meanwhile, freshman
Omar Hernandez added a goal and an assist for the Lightning, who outshot East Stroudsburg by a 20-9 margin.
• Ristow, who leads the Lightning with eight goals and five assists, has has scored three goals with four assists in his last three matches … In addition, Ristow moved into sole possession of eighth place on the Lightning's career goals list and into 10th place on the Lightning's all-time points list … In the last two seasons, he has scored 11 goals with eight assists.
• The reigning CACC Rookie of the Week, Hernandez has posted three goals with two assists in the last three matches … He ranks third on the team with four goals and three assists while playing in all 11 matches.
• The Lightning have outshot their opponents in 9 of 11 matches this season … Goldey-Beacom has outshot its opponents by a 178-106 margin.
• With 25 goals in 11 matches this year, the Lightning have surpassed their goal total from last year when they scored just 20 goals in 18 matches … The 25 goals are the most by Goldey-Beacom since the 2009 campaign when the Lightning scored 32 goals in 18 matches.
• Of the Lightning's six wins this year, five of them have come at home … Goldey-Beacom enters today's match with a 5-2-0 record at Nancy Churchman-Sawin Field this season.
• Currently 2-10-0 overall and 2-5-0 in the CACC, the Golden Falcons will be looking to build some momentum this afternoon after defeating Post University by a 2-1 margin on Wednesday afternoon ... It marked the Golden Falcons' first win over Post since the 2005 season and ended a three-match losing streak.

Alex Jean posted an assist on both Felician goals ... Meanwhile, freshman goalkeeper
John Burns made the second start of his college career and posted 10 saves to earn the victory ... He needed to make two saves in the final seven minutes to preserve the Golden Falcons' win.

Corey Telfer is the Golden Falcons' leading scorer with four goals while senior midfielder
Rafa Coronel has added three goals with an assist ... Jean, a senior defender, has posted all five of his assists in the last three matches.
• The Golden Falcons rallied to earn a 2-1 win last year against the Lightning as Coronel scored the game-winning goal with 8:21 remaining in regulation.
• After today's match, the Lightning will have a quick turnaround as they are scheduled to host local rival Wilmington University on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 3:30 p.m.
