WILMINGTON, Del. - After earning a come-from-behind victory over Washington College on Wednesday afternoon, the Lightning men's soccer team will begin a four-match road trip on Saturday afternoon by traveling to Nyack College for a 2 p.m. Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match against the Warriors at Moseley Field.
It will be the Lightning's penultimate CACC match of the season as Goldey-Beacom will face Bloomfield on Tuesday night.
Now 4-10-0 overall and 1-8-0 in the CACC, the Lightning earned their second win in the last three matches with an exciting 2-1 comeback victory in double overtime against the Shoremen on Wednesday afternoon at the Kirkwood Soccer Complex. After falling behind by 1-0 in the 67th minute, the Lightning tied the match with just 36 seconds remaining in regulation after freshman forward
Ernest Ackah (Smyrna H.S./Smyrna, Del.) scored the first goal of his college career off an assist from senior goalkeeper
Ignacio Farias (Maracay, Venezuela).
With 1:39 remaining in the second overtime period, freshman midfielder
Michael Harmon (Cape Henlopen H.S./Milton, Del.) scored the match-winning goal when he headed in a free kick from junior midfielder
Andre Jank (Campo Grande, Brazil).
Jank is the Lightning's leading scorer with three goals and one assist while junior forward

Currently 6-6-2 overall and 3-3-2 in the CACC, Nyack will enter Saturday's match against the Lightning looking to rebound from a 2-0 loss against Dominican on Wednesday afternoon. The loss snapped the Warriors' three-match unbeaten streak.
