Lightning Men's Soccer has rough time against Kutztown

Wilmington, DE – Lightning Men's Soccer has rough time against Kutztown

 

The Lightning men's soccer team played host to Kutztown University today.  The Lightning took the field in the first half, and out-shot Kutztown by ten shots, but Kutztown led 1-0 at the end of the first half.

 

The Lightning attempted to come back in the second half, but were unable to score on the Kutztown goalkeeper, and dropped the game 3-0 to Kutztown. 


Lightning midfielder Angel Rodriguez led the Lightning with 6 shots, including 3 shots on goal, while goalkeeper Garret Shuler made 5 saves.

 

The Lightning next face Post University on Saturday, September 27, 2008, in Waterbury, CT.
