Wilmington, DE – Lions overpower Lightning in CACC match

The Lightning volleyball team hosted Georgian Court University in a CACC match-up today.  The Lightning, attempting to stay with Georgian Court went in the first match and could not stop the Lions attacking powers.  The Lightning dropped the first set 25-10.

The second set the Lightning fought back against the Lions, but they were again too much to handle.  The Lightning dropped the second set 25-13. 

In the third set, the Lightning continued to improve against the dominating Lions, but dropped the third set 25-15. 

The Lightning will next play host to Bloomfield College at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 11, 2008.
