Men’s Golf Finishes Play at the Edwin Cottrell Invitational

Goldey-Beacom made its way back to Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester, PA to play the final round of what always is the competitive Edwin Cottrell Invitational.

Freshman Matteo Sasdelli (Florence, Italy) strengthened his case for making the NCAA regional, shooting 73 to close the tournament fourth with 147. Sasdelli made a birdie each of the two rounds and shot 36 on the back nine Tuesday after carding 37 on Monday.

Senior William Kelly (Aukland, New Zealand) fired an 80 one day after carding 77, closing tied for 27th with 157. Senior Guillermo de Miguel (Cadiz, Spain) shot a final-round 76 that included two birdies, ending tied for 32nd with 158.

Senior Ryne Miller (Wilmington, DE) shot 81 on Tuesday to end the 36 holes tied for 50th with 163. He made a birdie in each round.

Goldey-Beacom shot 310 on the day to end tied for sixth overall and tied for fourth among Division II schools with 625.

Goldey-Beacom on Tuesday is at the Husky Invitational in Danville, PA.
