Three For Men’s Golf Tabbed All-CACC

4/28/2026 12:00:00 AM

Goldey-Beacom's Men's Golf squad saw seniors William Kelly (Auckland, New Zealand) and Guillermo de Miguel (Cadiz, Spain) each named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Team a second time with freshman Matteo Sasdelli (Florence, Italy) gaining his first honor.

Named All-CACC two years ago, Kelly this season had another exceptional campaign.  He captured the Jefferson Invitational last fall with a one-under-par 69, notched three top-10 showings on the season and is ranked 22nd in the East Region.

Kelly also was part of all three Lightning squads who won consecutive CACC titles from 2022-24.  Last fall, Kelly won the league's Top XVII Award for having the sport's top GPA among athletes competing at the final's site.

De Miguel is ranked 17th in the region and also had three top-10 finishes, ending third at the CACC Championship and third at the Jefferson Invitational last fall.  Last season, he made the All-CACC Team during a year in which he ended sixth at the CACC Championship.

Sasdelli had an outstanding debut and is listed 19th in the region.  He had five top-10 finishes that included four straight, ending third at the Jefferson Invitational this spring and fourth at the Edwin Cottrell Invitational.  Sasdelli on October 29 was picked CACC Rookie of the Week, on September 17 made the league's Weekly Honor Roll and in March was tabbed CACC Rookie of the Month.

Goldey-Beacom is ranked ninth in the East Region and three times this season closed second in a tournament.  The Lightning also ended fourth at the CACC Championship.
