Fantastic Four for Women’s Soccer Earn a Spot on the CACC All-Academic Team

1/28/2026 12:00:00 AM

Goldey-Beacom's Women's Soccer Team got four on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference All-Academic Team with sophomores Ryley Dixon (Pilesgrove, NJ), Tess Pearce (Manchester, England), Ella Badra (Caracas, Venezuela) and junior Teagan Ayers (Millersburg, PA) getting the nod.

A first team all-conference selection last season, Dixon in 2024 made herself a scoring presence upon setting foot in Pike Creek and that continued into 2025.  A prolific shooter and playmaker, she had a career-best eight goals that put her tied for seventh in the CACC and 21 points that placed her sixth.

Dixon this season scored twice September 30 at Lincoln (PA), dished two assists November 1 at Dominican (NY) and notched a goal and an assist on two occasions.  She has amassed 14 goals, 11 assists and 39 points in just two seasons.

All of this comes after Dixon had an exceptional debut season in track and field, being named CACC Women's Track Rookie of the Year and United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-East Region.  She closed second at the CACC Championship in the 200-meter dash, third in the 400-meter dash, fourth in the 100-meter dash and fourth with the 4x400-meter relay team.

Pearce was a major factor in the midfield with her tremendous playmaking that enabled her to end tied for first in the CACC with 10 assists, which is tied for fifth in GBC single-season history.  She scored twice with an assist in Goldey-Beacom's 4-3 triumph November 1 at Dominican (NY) to clinch her team's spot in the conference tournament.

Badra competed in 18 games with 15 starts, scoring at Post and getting an assist in consecutive games vs. Georgian Court and Dominican (NY).  She has played in 34 games over her two seasons with 21 starts.

Ayers last season played in 14 games with nine starts on defense, both career highs that helped the Lightning allow no more than one goal over a seven-game stretch from September 23-October 15.  Over three seasons, she has competed in 25 contests with 12 starts.

Goldey-Beacom last season made the CACC Tournament for the ninth time in 11 seasons, doing so with a lineup that featured seven newcomers competing in at least 14 contests.  The Lightning set a new school record with an eight-game unbeaten streak, going 5-0-3 and outscoring their opponents 18-7.
