Men’s Golf Listed in the First NCAA Regional Rankings

3/17/2025 12:00:00 AM

With a fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Regionals secured after winning its third straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference title, Goldey-Beacom is listed in the first 2025 NCAA Men's Golf East Regional rankings.

As has become customary in recent years seemingly for all Division II sports, the first regional rankings are in alphabetical order.

The sixth CACC championship in program history and the most by any GBC team also marked the second time the program has won three straight titles, matching the feet from the 2002-03 season through 2004-05.  It also was the 14th CACC title in the College's history and clinched an automatic berth into the NCAA Regionals.

A key member of the squad is senior Camilo Samur (Bucaramanga, Colombia), a three-time All-CACC pick who this season has notched five top-10 finishes.  Among that included ending third at the CACC Championship and the Battlefield Classic.  He owns a 74.9 average over 15 rounds.

Senior Adrian Bonilla (Almeria, Spain) last season was picked all-league and this season has been exceptional with a trio of second-place showings.  He also was fifth at the Chestnut Hill Invitational and 11th at the CACC Championship.

Junior Guillermo de Miguel (Cadiz, Spain) is the Lightning's highest-ranked player at fifth in the region and his debut success backs that up.  He won the GBC Fall Invitational with 73 as part of his three top-10 showings that included ending sixth at the CACC Championship.

Junior William Kelly (Auckland, New Zealand), an All-CACC pick last season, has three top-10 finishes in the campaign and was 15th at the CACC Championship.

Goldey-Beacom on the final day of the CACC Championship shot 307 to end at 913, topping Dominican (NY) by four strokes.  Wilmington (DE), which was tied with GBC for the lead at the start of the third and final round, carded 312 to end the championship at 918.

Goldey-Beacom this Thursday and Friday will be at the Jefferson Invitational in Norristown, PA.
