Women’s Basketball Volunteers at LaMancha Animal Rescue

Goldey-Beacom's Women's Basketball team used its off day to spend time doing community service at LaMancha Animal Rescue in Coatesville, PA.

The squad handled various jobs in the great outdoors that assists animals, who are looking to be adopted, feel safe in an outstanding environment.

LaMancha maintains a 45-acre facility for rescuing dogs, cats, pigs, goats, horses and the occasional exotic animal that requires more space or specialized knowledge than most SPCAs can offer. LaMancha primarily is staffed with volunteers with an active list of approximately 200.

Previous endeavors for the Women's Basketball team in community service include spreading goodwill at a local elementary school and assisting with the SL24: UnLocke the Light Foundation.
