Women’s Basketball Defeated, 63-50, at Post

Goldey-Beacom women's basketball traveled to Waterbury, CT to face Post in a conference match-up, but was defeated 63-50.

Goldey-Beacom was up by six after the first quarter, but Post came back strong on the offensive end and outscored the Lightning in the remaining three quarters en route to its ninth conference victory and 12th victory of the season.

Goldey-Beacom was led by senior Rory Ciszkowski (Wilmington, DE) with 15 points and 10 rebounds, junior Genesis Garcia (Aguada, P.R.) with nine points, and sophomore Lydia Betz (Pittsburgh, Pa.) with eight points and four assists.

Post was led by Jasmine Day-Cox with 15 points and Alyssa Rossigno and McKensi Forde with 10 points each.

Goldey-Beacom plays next on Wednesday, when it travels to Philadelphia, PA to face Holy Family at 6:00 pm.
