Men's Golf continued their strong play into day two of the Cal Vulcan Invitational, and placed third with a team score of 901.
Tuesday's final round saw more great play from Senior Adrian Bonilla (Almeria, Spain), who shot 72 on the day and ended with a total of 219, leading the Lightning. Bonilla ended in a four-way tie for 2nd place. Junior Guillermo Gutierrez (Cadiz, Spain) was also able to finish strong, playing 73 on the day for a total of 226 and a three-way tie for 12th.
Senior Camilo Samur (Bucaramanga, Colombia) ended with 228, having 80 on day two and placed 15th. Junior William Kelly (Auckland, New Zealand) placed in a tie for 17th and finished with a total of 230, shooting 80 for his final round.
Freshman Beto Torres rounded out the team scores for GBC, totaling 239 after playing a final round of 78 and placing 35th.
The hosts, California (PA), were able to defeat Millersville in the playoffs to claim the victory, with Millersville ending in second four-player playoff on the ninth hole.
Goldey-Beacom returns to the course Monday and Tuesday as they host the GBC Fall Invitational at Wyncote Golf Club in Oxford, PA.
