Senior Adrian Bonilla (Almeria, Spain) leads for the Lightning after day one, ending with rounds of 72 and 75 for a total of 147. Not far behind Bonilla, is Senior Camilo Samur (Bucaramanga, Colombia) finishing the day with a total of 148, playing rounds of 73 and 75.
Juniors Guillermo Gutierrez (Cadiz, Spain) and William Kelly (Auckland, New Zealand) also ended the day with strong showings. Gutierrez played rounds of 72 and 81 for a total of 153, while Kelly ended with rounds of 79 and 75, totaling 154.
Freshman Beto Torres (Merida, Spain) closes out the team scores with 161, playing rounds of 79 and 82.
Goldey-Beacom finishes the tournament on Tuesday with the final round, tee times beginning at 8:30am.
