Goldey-Beacom junior Camilo Samur (Bucaramanga, Colombia) notched his third career victory and Men's Golf recorded its fourth triumph of the academic year, both easily winning at the Marauder Invitational in Lebanon, PA.

Samur followed Sunday's opening-round 73 by carding 72 to end with a one-over-par 145, winning by five strokes over Tim Peters from Millersville.  It was Samur's first victory of the season after winning the GBC Fall Invitational both in 2021 and 2022.

Samur has been named All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference each of the last two years and just notched his third top-10 showing of the season.  He was second at the West Liberty Invitational in September and third at the CACC Championship in October.

Goldey-Beacom used Sunday's 299 to shoot 602 and upend Millersville by seven shots.  This added even more to the resume of the number one ranked team in the East Region, both by the NCAA and Clippd, and it happened against formidable foes GBC likely will see in next month's NCAA Regional.

Junior Pablo Saenz Avila (Bogota, Colombia) continued his onslaught by closing tied for fourth, building on Sunday's 72 to shoot 151.  Adrian Bonilla (Almeria, Spain) was tied for ninth with 153 that included an opening-round 75 and fellow junior Hunter McGee (Almonte, ON) had the same aggregate total, shooting a final-round 74.

The 36-hole event was a great test for many teams at the site of last year's NCAA Regional, Iron Valley Golf Club.  This year's regional will be from May 9-11 at Oglebay Golf Resort in Wheeling, WV.

Goldey-Beacom next Tuesday and Wednesday will compete at the Jefferson Invitational.
