Goldey-Beacom continues its NCAA Regional preparation closing day one of the Jefferson Invitational tied for first in Norristown, PA.
 
The Lightning shot 298 in round one, matching that of fellow Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference competitor Dominican (NY).
 
Junior Adrian Bonilla (Almeria, Spain) is tied for the tournament lead with a round of 72, followed closely by fellow juniors Hunter McGee (Almonte, Ont.) and Camilo Samur (Bucaramanga, Colombia), who each shot 74 and 75, respectively.
 
Closing the team scores, junior Pablo Saenz Avila (Bogota, Colombia) and sophomore William Kelly (Auckland, New Zealand) played rounds of 77 and 83.
 
Playing as an individual, freshman Pedro Huerta (Merida, Spain) carded 81.
 
Wilmington (DE) sits in third with 319 and Jefferson in fourth with 320.
 
Goldey-Beacom concludes the tournament tomorrow with another round of 18 holes in Norristown, PA.
