More awards from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference made their way to Goldey-Beacom with junior Braden Kolmansberger (Lewisberry, PA) repeating as Baseball Player of the Week, sophomore Nate Miller (Mechanicsburg, PA) picked to the sport's Weekly Honor Roll with senior Abigail O'Shields (Dagsboro, DE) and junior Bryn Bohmann (Saskatoon, SK) each named to Softball's Weekly Honor Roll.

Kolmansberger incredibly batted .714 (10-for-14) on the week with two doubles, three home runs and nine RBI over three games.  He went a combined 7-for-10 on Friday at Jefferson with a double, three home runs and eight RBI.  This included four hits, a double, two home runs and five RBI in game one.

It what has been an amazing run, Kolmansberger during a nine-game hitting streak is batting .543 (19-for-35) with three doubles, five home runs and 21 RBI.  The 2022 second team All-CACC pick this season was named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Preseason All-East Region Team.

Kolmansberger is fifth in team history with 123 career hits, first with eight triples, third with 31 doubles and seventh with 28 stolen bases.

Miller struck out six, allowing just two hits and two walks over six scoreless innings Friday in Goldey-Beacom's 11-0 victory Tuesday at Jefferson.

A winner in his last two starts, Miller has notched 23 strikeouts over his last four appearances.  This included a season-best nine on March 8 against Queens (NY).

Goldey-Beacom (16-9, 2-1 CACC) has been ranked second in the East Region according to the NCBWA the entire season and as high as 22nd in the national poll.

O'Shields went 1-0 on the week with 17 strikeouts, a save and one hit allowed over eight scoreless innings.  She had 14 strikeouts in game one Tuesday against Holy Family, allowing one hit over seven innings.  O'Shields got the save in game two, striking out the side in the seventh inning of Goldey-Beacom's 1-0 win.

Dominating inside the circle and continuing to make the Lightning a formidable foe, O'Shields has become must-watch softball with many taking notice.  She amazingly has 116 strikeouts, which is just seven behind the single-season school record set last year by sophomore Alesia Doctor (Rising Sun, MD).  That total already is 14th in the program's career annals.

Bohmann went 2-for-4 on the week with an RBI double over two games.

A solid addition who has showed great versatility on the infield, Bohmann is hitting .376 on the year with 10 triples, three home runs and 30 RBI.  She also had a 15-game hitting streak, second best on the squad this year.
