One year after playing in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history, Goldey-Beacom is listed in the first NCAA East Region rankings for the year.

As always for Division II, the first rankings are in alphabetical order.

Goldey-Beacom this season has received a major boost from junior pitcher Molly Skelly (Blackwood, NJ), who is 11-5 on the season and has won her last four decisions.  A solid competitor who grabbed the top pitcher's role early in the season, she is first in the CACC with a 2.44 ERA, tied for fourth in wins and sixth with a .281 batting average against.

Junior shortstop McKenna Frank (Oxford, PA) remains a stalwart with her impressive hitting, which last season saw her record a 20-game hitting streak.  She is third in the league with 47 hits, fifth with a .405 batting average and sixth with 27 RBI.

Freshman outfielder Ayri Hansen (Lakewood, CA) has been a vital addition with her bat and her glove.  She is seventh in the CACC with a .389 batting average, tied for fifth with four triples and is riding a team-season-high 16-game hitting streak.

Goldey-Beacom (20-16, 9-7 CACC) sits fifth in the league with two games remaining.  The top four teams host a first-round, best-of-three series in the conference tournament.

The squad last season (40-16) notched the most single-season victories for any team in the Athletic Department's 35-year history, became the first GBC program to host an NCAA Tournament event on the Pike Creek campus and played in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.

Goldey-Beacom ends its regular season Sunday with a noon doubleheader at Felician in Nutley, NJ.
