Goldey-Beacom endured tough conditions at the Franklin Pierce Invitational, finishing eighth with 587 in Townsend, MA.
 
The Lightning shot 288 in round two, an 11-shot improvement from round one.  
 
Junior Adrian Bonilla (Almeria, Spain) led the Lightning after a round-two score of 70 to total 143 overall. Fellow junior Hunter McGee (Almonte, Ont.) followed just one shot behind after rounds of 74 and 70, respectively.
 
Junior Pablo Saenz Avila (Bogota, Colombia) closed with 74 in both rounds to finish at 148, with junior Camilo Samur (Bucaramanga, Colombia) shooting 152, with rounds of 78 and 74. Sophomore William Kelly (Auckland, New Zealand) closed his second round with 81 to total 159.
 
Fellow Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference competitor Felician placed ninth and Post won the competition.
 
Goldey-Beacom travels to Petersburg, VA on Monday to compete in the Griffin Invitational. The first round will be played on Monday and competition will conclude Tuesday.
