Goldey-Beacom endured a day of tough conditions in Indiana, PA, closing day one of the Spadafora IUP Invitational.
 
Freshman William Kelly (Auckland, New Zealand) leads the Lightning, tied for 18^th. Kelly played 40 on the front nine, before improving by four shots on the back nine for a round one total of 76, aided by three birdies.
 
Sophomores Adrian Bonilla (Almeria, Spain) and Ryan Jarvis (Higham Ferrers, England) shot 80 to sit tied for 57^th at nine-over-par. Sophomore Camilo Samur (Bucaramanga, Colombia) carded 81 to stand tied for 63^rd, with fellow sophomore Pablo Saenz Avila (Bogota, Colombia) played 82 to sit tied for 70^th. 
 
Sophomore Hunter McGee (Almonte, Ont.) rounds out the Lightning players tied for 78^th with a round one total of 83.

The Lightning currently sits in 13th place after recording 319. 
 
Goldey-Beacom conclude the tournament on Tuesday, with rounds beginning at 10:00 am.
