Sophomore Camilo Samur (Bucaramanga, Colombia) carded 68 to win the GBC Fall Invitational for the second straight year and Goldey-Beacom recorded its third straight victory with its triumph at Rock Manor Golf Club in Wilmington, DE.

Samur went on a tear with three birdies on the front nine to go out in 34 and two on the back to come back in 34, ending three-under par.  He shot 71 in last year's victory at Deerfield and this year fell one short of his career best, firing 67 during the second round of last season's Edwin Cottrell Invitational.

Sophomore Hunter McGee (Almonte, ON) was the only other golfer under par, shooting 70 to close second and finishing with a tournament-best six birdies.  Sophomore Pablo Saenz Avila (Bogota, Colombia) was third with 73 and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference champion Mason Kucy (Camrose, AB) ended fifth with 75.

Sophomore Ryan Jarvis (Higham Ferrers, England) and freshman William Kelly (Auckland, New Zealand) each were tied for sixth with 76, freshman David Pic (Wilmington, DE) ended 13th with 80, sophomore Adrian Bonilla (Almeria, Spain) closed 15th with 83 and junior Carlos Riveras (Margarita Island, Venezuela) ended 16th with 84.

GBC won with 286 in an All-CACC field.  Felician was second with 310, followed by Jefferson with 336 and Chestnut Hill with 346.

This ends a fall in which Goldey-Beacom recorded four victories, most notably winning the CACC title and an automatic berth into the NCAA Regional that comes with it.
