Men's Golf Continue Impressive Play to Place First at Husky Invitational

Goldey-Beacom continue its winning streak and impressive play with a first-place finish at the Husky Invitational in Danville, PA with a total of 300, one shot in front of Bloomsburg University.

Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference individual champion Mason Kucy (Camrose, Alb.) led the way for the Lightning for a second time, placing second with 73 to end just two shots off the pace.

Sophomores Hunter McGee (Almonte, Ont.) and Camilo Samur (Bucaramanga, Colombia) played solid rounds respectively. McGee finishing his round trailing Kucy by one shot to place tied for third at two-over par. Samur finished his round with 76 to place tied for seventh.

Fellow sophomore Pablo Saenz Avila (Bogota, Colombia) placed tied for ninth after carding 77. Carlos Riveras (Margarita Island, Venezuela) was tied for 27th with 83 and fellow sophomore Ryan Jarvis (Higham Ferrers, England) totaled 85, placing him at tied for 32nd
.

Freshman William Kelly (Auckland, New Zealand) placed not far behind at tied for 34th with 86.  Fellow freshman David Pic (Wilmington, Del.) finished his first collegiate tournament with 97, placing 47th.

Goldey-Beacom concludes its fall season Thursday, hosting the GBC Fall Invitational at Rock Manor Golf Club. Tee times are set for 11am.
