Men's Golf Execls On Day One of the FPU Fall Invitational

Goldey-Beacom continued its impressive play by shooting 297 on day one of the FPU Fall Invitational in Keene, NH.

Camilo Samur (Bucaramanga, Colombia) once again went on a tear, sitting tied for first after opening with a one-under-par 71.  Mason Kucy (Camrose, AB) shot one under on the back nine to close his day with a one-over-par 73, putting him in a tie for 11th place.

Pablo Saenz Avila (Bogota, Colombia) is tied for 26th after carding 76, Hunter McGee (Almonte, ON) ended with 77 and Adrian Bonilla (Almeria, Spain) fired an 80.

Goldey-Beacom is tied for fourth in the 14-team field, just five shots behind first-place Southern New Hampshire and ahead of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference foes Dominican (NY), University of the Sciences and Chestnut Hill.

The final round will take place Monday, beginning at 8:00 am.
