Hunter McGee Leads Men's Golf After Day One At Griffin Invitational

Goldey-Beacom started day one at the Griffin Invitational with a solid showing, finishing the day in third place.

Freshman Hunter McGee (Carp, Ont.) holds first place carding 76 coming off shooting 77 in Jackson Springs, NC. Freshman Pablo Saenz Avila (Bogota, Colombia) finished tied for ninth on the day carding 82.

Freshman Camilo Samur (Bucaramanga, Colombia) is tied for 12th by shooting 83. Freshman Mason Kucy (Camrose, Alb.) is 24th after firing 92. 
  
Goldey-Beacom in the first round carded 333 as a team, trailing first-place Felician University eight shots heading into day two.

Day Two of the Griffin Invitational continues on Tuesday at 9:00AM.
