Men's Golf Opens its Season at the FPU Fall Invitational

Goldey-Beacom's Men Golf team opens up their 2019-2020 season by playing 18 holes at the FPU Fall Invitational in Keene, NH.

The lightning had a solid first round with three players having their first debut with the Lightning.

Freshman Hunter McGee (Carp, Ont.) lead the team with a 75 to be tied for 11th after the first round. Sophomore Gonzalo Moreno (Sevilla, Spain) carded a 76 to be tied 17th, freshman Pablo Saenz Avila (Bogota, Columbia) shot a 77 to be tied 21st, junior Corbin Babyak (Wallenpaupack, Pa.) carded a 78 to be tied 26th, senior Shea Murphy (Wilmington, Del.) shot a 79 to be tied 32nd.

The Lightning sit solely in 4th place with 306 after the first day.

The final round will take place Monday morning.
