Strong Showings Again for Men’s Golf at the Crofton Invitational

Goldey-Beacom got back on the links and back on its solid play, competing at the Crofton Invitational in Crofton, MD.

Sophomore Corbin Babyak (Wallenpaupack, PA) carded a five-over par 77 and followed with 76, sitting 14th with 153 and only eight shots off the pace. One week after closing tied for first at the Jefferson Rams Classic, junior Braden Wheeler (Carleton Place, ON) shot 79 and 77 to sit tied for 18th at 156.

Junior Shea Murphy (Wilmington, DE) is tied for 31st with 159 that included a second-round 76, senior Ryan Quigg (Sykesville, MD) is 38th with 162 that includes a second-round 76 and junior Jaime Daza (Bogota, Colombia) is 47th with 177.

Goldey-Beacom is in seventh place at 630, which included shooting 306 in the second round, and Bentley leads the way at 598. This comes after the Lightning ended third at the Jefferson Rams Classic.

Final-round action is Tuesday at the Crofton Country Club.
