Men's Golf Finishes Third in the Jefferson Rams Classic; Braden Wheeler Ties for First

Goldey-Beacom did exceptionally well in the Jefferson Rams Classic in Lafayette Hill, PA and junior Braden Wheeler (Carleton Place, Ont.) tied for medalist honors.

Wheeler had another solid outing, shooting 73 to end in a three-way tie for first place. It is the fourth time this season he has closed in the top 10.

Sophomore Corbin Babyak (Wallenpaupack, Pa.) shot 75 to end tied for fifth, senior Ryan Quigg (Sykesville, Md.) carded 81 to finish tied for 17th, Shea Murphy (Wilmington, Del.) shot an 82 to finish 27th and fellow junior Jaime Daza (Bogota, Colombia) fired 88 to finish tied for 45th.

The Lightning finished third out of 13 schools with 311, just one shot behind the leaders. Felician College and Swarthmore College closed tied for first with 310.

Goldey-Beacom next Monday and Tuesday competes at the Crofton Invitational in Crofton, MD.
