Goldey-Beacom once again displayed solid play on the links, this time in the opening round of the Mike Bello Invitational in Syracuse, NY.

Junior Braden Wheeler (Carleton Place, ON) had yet another solid outing, carding 75 to put himself in a tie for 11th. Senior Ryan Quigg (Sykesville, MD) is tied for 16th at 76, sophomore Corbin Babyak (Wallenpaupack, PA) stands tied for 49th at 82, Shea Murphy (Wilmington, DE) is tied for 66th at 86 and fellow junior Jaime Daza (Bogota, Colombia) sits tied for 69th at 88.

The Lightning are in 12th after the opening round with 319. Laval University is first with 299.

Final-round action is Friday in Syracuse.
