Goldey-Beacom Men's Golf excels in day one of the Griffin Invitational in Plymouth Meeting, PA. 

The Lightning currently sit in first place with 301 shots above a few fellow Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference teams. 

Junior Corbin Babyak (Wallenpaupack, Pa.) had a tremendous first day on the course shooting a 73 to sit in first place. Freshman Hunter McGee (Carp, Ont.) is in second place with a 74, freshman Gonzalo Moreno (Seville, Spain) and senior Braden Wheeler (Carleton Place, Ont.) both shot a 77 to be tied for fourth and senior Shea Murphy (Wilmington, Del.) shot an 80 to be tied 10th.

Goldey-Beacom is back in action on Tuesday for the final round of the Griffin Invitational with tee times beginning at 10am.
