Goldey-Beacom Men's golf competed in day one of the Le Moyne Invitational in Cicero, NY.

Freshman Gonzalo Moreno (Seville, Spain) led the Lightning in day one carding a 71 to be tied sixth. Freshman Hunter McGee (Carp, Ont.) shot a 75 to be tied 22nd, senior Shea Murphy (Wilmington, DE.) carded a 77 to be tied 36th, junior Corbin Babyak (Wallenpaupack, Pa.) shot a 78 to be tied 44th and freshman Mason Kucy (Camrose, Alb.) shot an 83 to be tied 74th. 

Goldey-Beacom is currently in eighth place with 301 shots and Laval University is in first with 293 shots.

The Lightning take the course again on Saturday for round two of the Le Monye Invitational. Tee times begin at 8am in Cicero, NY.
