Goldey-Beacom Men's Golf hit the course today for day one of the Eagle Invitational in Watertown, CT.

After round one, the Lightning sit in eighth place with a total of 305 shots. Assumption College sits in first place with 291 shots after the first round.

Junior Corbin Babyak (Wallenpaupack, Pa.) leads the team with a 74 to be tied for 15th. Sophomore Gonzalo Moreno (Sevilla, Spain) carded a 76 to be tied for 20th, freshman Hunter McGee (Carp, Ont.) shot a 77 to be tied 34th, senior Braden Wheeler (Carleton Place, Ont.) shot a 79 to be tied 47th and Pablo Saenz Avila(Bogota, Columbia) carded an 80 to be tied 57th.

Senior Shea Murphy (Wilmington, Del.) and Freshman Mason Kucy (Camrose, Alb.) both played as individuals. Murphy carded a 75 to sit in 19th and Kucy shot a 76 to be tied for 20th.

Goldey-Beacom will compete in the final round on Tuesday with tee times starting at 10AM in Watertown, CT.
