Babyak Ends Strong for Men’s Golf at the Glade Springs Intercollegiate

Sophomore Corbin Babyak (Wallenpaupack, PA) ended a solid performance by shooting his second sub-80 round of the week at the Glade Springs Intercollegiate in Daniels, WV.

Babyak followed his second-round 74 from late Monday with a 79 on Tuesday to end the championship tied for 39th with 233.

Senior Ryan Quigg (Sykesville, MD) was tied for 50th with 235, Braden Wheeler (Carleton Place, ON) finished tied for 76th with 243 and fellow junior Shea Murphy (Wilmington, DE/Wilmington Charter) closed with 251.

The Lightning, who shot 311 in the second round Monday, carded 326 on Tuesday to end tied for 20th with 962.

Goldey-Beacom returns to action September 24 in a dual match against Jefferson, beginning at 1:30 pm at The Ace Club in Lafayette Hill, PA.
