Goldey-Beacom played solidly against quality opponents in round one of the Le Moyne Invitational in Manlius, NY.

The Lightning shot an impressive 312 that on most days would be near the top of the leaderboard. But on this day, the unit is ninth with 18 holes to play. Laval University, based in Quebec City, is first with 287 and Roberts Wesleyan is the highest American school at 288.

Senior Ryan Quigg (Sykesville, MD) is tied for 23rd with 75, Braden Wheeler (Carleton Place, ON) sits tied for 30th with 76, fellow junior Shea Murphy (Wilmington, DE) is ties for 40th at 78 and sophomore Corbin Babyak (Wallenpaupack, PA) is tied for 66th with 83.

Final-round action is Saturday, beginning at 9:00 am.
