Golf Commences Fall Season at the FPU Invitational

Goldey-Beacom on Sunday made its way to New England to begin its 2017 fall campaign in round one of the FPU Invitational in Keene, NH.

Sparking GBC was freshman Corbin Babyak (Wallenpaupack, PA), who carded 80 in his collegiate debut and is tied for 29th after 18 holes. Senior Andre Primeau (Pontypool, ON) and freshman Hunter Tollinger (Elkton, MD) are tied for 34th with 8,1 and junior Ryan Quigg (Sykesville, MD) is tied for 48th at 85.

The Lightning are seventh as a unit with 327. Southern New Hampshire has three players in the top five and leads the way with 298.

Final-round action is Monday with a 9:00 am shotgun start.
