Men’s Golf Closes Play at the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational

Goldey-Beacom once again faced tough competition in playing the final round of the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational in West Chester, PA.

Senior Chris Mandia (Catskill, NY) shot a final-round 76 to end the tournament tied for ninth at 153. He only finished six shots off the pace set by Le Moyne's John Clare, who recorded a one-shot win.

Senior Garrett Brown (Severn, MD) carded 79 for the second straight round and finished tied for 26th at 158. Junior Andre Primeau (Pontypool, ON) was 53rd with 169, senior Tom Hannig (Claymont, DE) closed tied for 54th with 170 and freshman Shea Murphy (Wilmington, DE) ended 59th at 174.

GBC closed the day with 320, but ended the tournament 10th at 650. Davis and Elkins won the title with 605.

Goldey-Beacom on Friday will play 36 holes at the Mike Bello Invitational in Baldwinsville, NY.
